There are a number of events planned for the season by the Friends to encourage people to visit and enjoy the garden. For confirmation and further details please the website or our Facebook page. Please be aware that for ALL events, normal entry fee to the garden applies for non-NTS members.
- “Sundays in the Garden” will run on the first Sunday of May (1st), July (3rd ) and September (4th ). We will have home baking on sale and are planning live music with local choirs.
- Craft Fair, Saturday 6th August- a selection of craft stalls and family entertainment
- Apple Day, Sunday 2nd October- this showcases the wonderful Geilston apples with a series of themed activities.

Art Workshops
Wednesday 15th June “Expressive Landscape” with Carol Moore, exploring the garden in an expressive, descriptive way using simple materials
Wednesday 14th September “Geilston in September” with Julia Gurney finding shapes, rhythms, patterns and place using water- based media
We also hope that the Tai Chi Thursday sessions will once again run with Adrianne Kerr.
As well as the above Friends events, the National Trust will be hosting a number of events again during the season, to be confirmed. Details will be on the NTS website.
